Tukesiga Alossias is a bright, energetic 7-year-old boy with a heart full of dreams, living in the village of Nyamatsinda, nestled in the beautiful yet challenging region of Rushaga, Kisoro, Uganda. Despite the difficulties of growing up in a rural area where resources are scarce, Tukesiga shows a remarkable resilience and passion for life that shines through in everything he does.

Born on May 23rd, 2018, Tukesiga is the youngest member of a lively and loving family. His father, Baryahebwa Herbert, and his mother, Natukunda Rose, are hardworking peasants who dedicate their days to farming to provide for their family. Together with his five siblings, Giramasiko Eunice, Kamusime Sadulesi, Kyatuheire Joanita, Gumoshabe Elijah, and Akangwanaho Omega, Tukesiga grew up in an environment where every day is a lesson in hard work, determination, and love.

Tukesiga's life, though humble, is filled with joy. He loves to play football, often kicking the ball around with his friends and siblings after school, his laughter echoing through the village. He enjoys digging, which ties him to the land and his family’s farming livelihood. But more than anything, Tukesiga has a natural sense of leadership and a strong will, even if his favorite pastimes sometimes involve playful fighting with his siblings.

He attends Heart 2 Heart Nursery School, a beacon of opportunity in his rural community. The school, located close to his home, has been instrumental in shaping his early education and nurturing his potential. He is a top student in his class, always eager to learn and explore new things. His teachers speak of his enthusiasm and curiosity, his ability to grasp new concepts quickly, and his infectious smile that brightens the classroom.

Despite his promising future, Tukesiga's family faces many challenges. His parents, both subsistence farmers, do not have the means to provide all the resources Tukesiga needs to continue his education and personal growth. Though they work tirelessly to make ends meet, they cannot cover the costs of additional school materials, extracurricular activities, or the opportunity to further his education in the future.
