About Mbabazi Shalone

In the village of Mupaka in Kisoro, Uganda, a young girl named Mbabazi Shalone starts her day with a bright smile and a heart full of hope. At 12 years old, she is a lively and determined child who dreams of a future filled with possibilities. She lives with her parents, Mugisha Valence and Nyirasenga Beatar, along with her five siblings. Life in their village is simple, yet challenging, with limited access to resources and opportunities.

Mbabazi is fortunate to attend Cornerstone Preparatory School, a beacon of hope for children in her community. She walks to school every day with a heart eager to learn, knowing that education is the key to unlocking her dreams. Though her family works hard to support her, the financial strain of raising six children makes it difficult to afford school fees, books, and other essentials.

Despite these challenges, Mbabazi remains an enthusiastic student. She has a special love for dancing, it is her way of expressing joy, hope, and resilience. Whether she is practicing traditional Ugandan dances or simply moving to the rhythm of a song, dancing brings her a sense of freedom and happiness, even in the face of hardships.

Her parents, though hardworking, struggle to provide all that Mbabazi needs for her education. Her father, Mugisha Valence, does his best to provide for the family, while her mother, Nyirasenga Beatar, cares for the children and the home. With five siblings—Tuwombe Samuel, Asifiwe Faransine, Turinayo Sira, Iradukunda Emmanuel, and Nfiteyesu Estar—their household is full of love but stretched thin in resources.

Mbabazi has the potential to achieve great things, but she needs support. A sponsorship would ensure that she can continue her education without interruption, receive proper school supplies, and grow into the bright and confident young woman she aspires to be. With your help, Mbabazi can focus on her studies; pursue her passion for dance, and dream of a future where she can uplift her family and community.

Sponsoring Mbabazi is not just about helping one child, it is about empowering a generation. It is about giving a young girl the tools she needs to break the cycle of poverty and create a better future for herself and those around her.

Will you be the one to make a difference in Mbabazi Shalone’s life? Your support can turn her dreams into reality, ensuring that she has the opportunity to thrive and succeed.

Sponsor Mbabazi today and be a part of her incredible journey!
